Winds of Plague is a deathcore band based in Upland, California. They were originally named "Bleak December", but changed their name to "Winds of Plague" in April 2005, getting their name from lyrics in Unearth's song "Endless," from their 2002 EP of the same name. Winds of Plague combines elements of deathcore and symphonic metal. They are currently on a US tour known as "Thrash and Burn" with Darkest Hour, Parkway Drive, Arsis and many more. This fall they will embark on The "Blackest of the Black" tour with such bands as Danzig, Dimmu Borgir and Moonspell.
